After 9 minutes, Jack Lundberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Northmen Army and the Ema City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ema City's Dominik Dankowski was substituted for Emil Cetnar. In the 10th match minute, The Northmen Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Lundberg to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Holmberg took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcin Kapera. Marcin Kapera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 17th match minute, Ema City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartosz Podwojski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Holmberg in the 26th minute of play forced Ema City's goalkeeper Marcin Kapera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robin Bäckström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dominik Dankowski to make the kick off. Robin Bäckström came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Ema City's Dominik Dankowski. But to his dismay, Dominik Dankowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Dominik Dankowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robin Bäckström having to make a save. Dominik Dankowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of The Northmen Army booed when Ema City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobald Malewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Kevin Näfver left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Marcin Kapera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Söderström, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Robin Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Dankowski in the 82nd minute of play. It was beautiful to see The Northmen Army's Sebastian Wacherhausen in action when he in the 100th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Ema City succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though The Northmen Army had controlled the match.
