Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Basílio Paraibano started the match with the kick off. Rodriguinho Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Nelson da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelson da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Fonseca in the 7th minute of play forced Social Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Nelson da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nelson da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Kader Picar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Social Futebol Clube! Nelson da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Fonseca in the 30th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Social Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Vitinho Leme. In the 34th minute, Pedro Luiz Marinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelson da Silveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 37th minute Aníbal Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelson da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelson da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luiz Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Nelson da Silveira came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Pedro Luiz Marinho. But to his dismay, Pedro Luiz Marinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Luiz Marinho to strike the kick off in the second half. Nelson da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maicon Toscano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nelson da Silveira came out and tried to block the shot, but Maicon Toscano slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute, PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Noel Rosado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. In the 65th minute Aníbal Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelson da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon Toscano in the 66th minute of the match. Carlos Fernando Salles hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Social Futebol Clube's Nelson da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Fonseca in the 70th minute of play. After 73 played minutes Social Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Salles. Matías Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Fernando Salles in the 90th minute of the match. Nelson da Silveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elói Nogueira in the 92nd minute. Social Futebol Clube's Nelson da Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Social Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Nelson da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PEÇONHENTO FC MG played a much better game than Social Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Social Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
