Conrado Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Rosio, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of Bem Bolado booed when Bendito Sea El Fernet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Tiadoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cosme Mikelar fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bendito Sea El Fernet's protests and gave Cosme Mikelar a yellow card for diving instead. Wilson Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Maule having to interfere. When Samuel Paraíba fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bem Bolado's protests and gave Samuel Paraíba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Samuel Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfredo Igon during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jean Alvarenga, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 41 played minutes Bem Bolado got a freekick which was hit by Luizão Coutinho. Wilton Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonardo Ramos to strike the kick off in the second half. If Wilfredo Igon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Mario Tipi got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 58 minutes, Leonardo Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bem Bolado and the Bendito Sea El Fernet players grew even worse after the yellow card. 64 minutes into the match, Bendito Sea El Fernet's goalkeeper Tomás Maule had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilson Lima. In the 66th match minute, Bem Bolado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida do Valle to maneuver through the defense. Baldomiro Guerrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conrado Gonçalves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfredo Igon went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the game, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Mario Tipi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conrado Gonçalves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Tomás Maule showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Mario Tipi took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Gonçalves. Conrado Gonçalves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 86th match minute, Bem Bolado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida do Valle to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the game, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Wilfredo Igon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conrado Gonçalves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Conrado Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Igon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
