The supporters of Glyka Nera FC booed when ACR SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliks Napierkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Vaggelis Giannopoulatos notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of ACR SA's Waldemar Klimkiewicz. Waldemar Klimkiewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanasis Thomopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigiusz Oryniak in the 22nd minute of the match. ACR SA were furious when Feliks Napierkowski was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Giannis Sabrakos walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 33 minutes into the match, ACR SA's goalkeeper Waldemar Klimkiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christos Mazonakis. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Telis Bezas during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Glyka Nera FC's Telis Bezas got a free kick in the 35th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Christos Mazonakis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Waldemar Klimkiewicz. That made the score 3-0 in the 38 minute of play. In the 41st minute, Glyka Nera FC's Christos Mazonakis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Waldemar Klimkiewicz. Waldemar Klimkiewicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Panagiotis Lyberopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Waldemar Klimkiewicz made a huge save. In the 45th minute, Telis Bezas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christos Mazonakis to strike the kick off in the second half. Waldemar Klimkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Savas Logothetis in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, ACR SA's goal looked a bit too open when Christos Mazonakis came free, but Waldemar Klimkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Savas Logothetis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glyka Nera FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Waldemar Klimkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christos Marmitas in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute Savas Logothetis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Klimkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Christos Mazonakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldemar Klimkiewicz. ACR SA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christos Mazonakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Waldemar Klimkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christos Marmitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Vaggelis Giannopoulatos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldemar Klimkiewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 83rd minute, Savas Logothetis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glyka Nera FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. ACR SA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
