Jim Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléber de Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Azevedo got free with Jim Åkesson in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute, Valdemar Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute Tom Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paşa Nada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jim Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Jim Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Penha in the 19th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Azevedo got free with Jim Åkesson in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. IFK Berga's Tom Svensson got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Marcelinho Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, IFK Berga's Jim Åkesson got control of the ball when Donato Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Predador Brasiliense MZBR getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. William Lopez hit a great ball. Jim Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Predador Brasiliense MZBR's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Svensson came free, but Paşa Nada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kléber de Toledo in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jim Åkesson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. William Lopez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jim Åkesson came out and tried to block the shot, but William Lopez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 38th minute. Adalberto Braga made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and William Lopez immediately put the ball in play. Jim Åkesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Lopez in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Kléber de Toledo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jim Åkesson. That made the score 2-0 after 45 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

54 minutes into the game, Betão de Godoi threw the ball into play from the sideline. IFK Berga's Per Sellberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The throw-in from Betão de Godoi in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by IFK Berga's Per Sellberg. After some careless play in the IFK Berga defense, Kléber de Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jim Åkesson. The IFK Berga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jim Åkesson should have stopped the shot. 64 minutes into the match, IFK Berga's goal looked a bit too open when Kléber de Toledo came free, but Jim Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 minutes, Kléber de Toledo made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. IFK Berga's Jim Åkesson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Predador Brasiliense MZBR made a substitution. Zé Paulo Alagoano replaced Marcelinho Custódio. In the 80th minute Donato Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Åkesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
