After a defensive mix-up in Astral Roots Gdynia's zone, Mateo Manny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariusz Szostak came out of the goal and Mateo Manny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antoni Lato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Benet having to interfere. Mateo Manny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Mariusz Szostak made a huge save. When the match was over chacarita juniors could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Astral Roots Gdynia throughout the match.
