In the 8th minute of the match Boca Juniors got a corner. COURO COME FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anier Oton ran over to the corner to take the kick. Reynaldo Batista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateo Cordareo's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. If Emilio Txema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dionisio Olivar made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Magno Zonta sent off a good shot on target. When Mateo Cordareo fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors's protests and gave Mateo Cordareo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Cordareo to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Cordareo in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Jeferson Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. COURO COME FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeferson Couto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Cordareo in the 30th minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiko Senas short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Dionisio Olivar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 40 minutes into the game, Magno Zonta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dionisio Olivar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Couto came free, but Dionisio Olivar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54th minute Kiko Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Olivar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. COURO COME FC's Jeferson Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Boca Juniors's Mateo Cordareo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reynaldo Batista. That made the score 1-1 after 62 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Boca Juniors defense, Jeferson Couto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dionisio Olivar. The Boca Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dionisio Olivar should have stopped the shot. Dionisio Olivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno Zonta in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, COURO COME FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Txema came free, but Reynaldo Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dionisio Olivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeferson Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes of play, COURO COME FC's Jeferson Couto made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dionisio Olivar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reynaldo Batista was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Emilio Txema capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emilio Txema really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Reynaldo Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Cordareo in the 95th minute of the match.
