The Club Almirante Brown fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Club Almirante Brown's Tomás Pasqual looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Yaman Academy® booed when Club Almirante Brown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Pierres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Aldo Colon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Prudencio Donio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Almirante Brown's supporters rose to their feet, but Prudencio Donio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yaman Academy®'s Ceyhan Yavuz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Pasqual in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aydın Ilıcan to make the kick off. Ceyhan Yavuz made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Aristides Rayman sent off a good shot on target. 59 minutes into the match, Yaman Academy®'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Pasqual came free, but Ceyhan Yavuz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Americo Duardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ceyhan Yavuz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldo Colon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aydın Ilıcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ceyhan Yavuz came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Almirante Brown's Aristides Rayman. But to his dismay, Aristides Rayman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Gualterio Shepherd's late challenge caught a Yaman Academy®'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gualterio Shepherd helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Yaman Academy®'s Paulino Maldini got a free kick in the 84th minute. Ceyhan Yavuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Duardo in the 86th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Tomás Pasqual recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ceyhan Yavuz. Tomás Pasqual showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. In the 91st minute of the match Oscar Abascal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ceyhan Yavuz skillfully saved the ball. Tunç Sarper took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aldo Colon. Club Almirante Brown's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 97th minute Aydın Ilıcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98th match minute, Club Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Etxepare to maneuver through the defense. In the 99th minute of the match Tunç Sarper shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aldo Colon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Club Almirante Brown's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
