After a rather tough play, PIAUÍ FC's Ulisses da Mata got a free kick in the 13th minute. 19 minutes into the match, The Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Mateus Alexandridis came free, but Dean Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Nelson Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Ingram saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes The Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Gregory Masters. Carl Atkins was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. The Tigers's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Grant Leighton might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Italo Franklin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grant Leighton ran back to his position shaking his head. The Tigers's Dean Ingram played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Tavares in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Nelson Nunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PIAUÍ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, The Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Nunes came free, but Dean Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Grant Leighton made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, The Tigers's goalkeeper Dean Ingram had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelson Nunes. Dean Ingram was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 81st minute Nelson Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Ingram saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Mateus Alexandridis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dean Ingram, passed just outside the right post. Dean Ingram took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, The Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Tavares came free, but Dean Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Tigers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Nelson Nunes scored to the left of an out of position Dean Ingram, making the score, 0-6. PIAUÍ FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
