One of Boğazova:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tirant lo Blanch:s goal. 29 minutes into the match, Boğazova's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Sánchez came free, but Musa Dündaroğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Sánchez might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Musa Dündaroğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Sánchez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37thth minute of the game Juan Sánchez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boğazova's Musa Dündaroğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tirant lo Blanch were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Boğazova's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Txema Mudarra took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Boğazova's goalie and right to Alanzo Cabezas. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Boğazova's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 40 minutes, Raşit Bozlak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boğazova and the Tirant lo Blanch players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes Boğazova got a freekick which was hit by Raşit Bozlak. 47 minutes into the match, Boğazova's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Sánchez came free, but Musa Dündaroğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Juan Sánchez made the kick off in the second half. When Juan Sánchez came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Tirant lo Blanch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Sánchez couldn't finish the play. Musa Dündaroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Sánchez in the 65th minute of play.
