But to his dismay, Xencio Revillas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Newcastle United's Zbigniew Kalinowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xencio Revillas in the 15th minute of play. NAGANO F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ubaldo Elguero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaw Nuszkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded NAGANO F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Newcastle United.
