In the 5th minute Alo Ba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celsinho Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Osmundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Dario Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Nico Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Barros was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Celsinho Vander came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Sebastian Andrade. But to his dismay, Sebastian Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Baldomiro Gerazan kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Celsinho Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Guipuzkoa in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Zeledon Osmundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Osmundo in the 32nd minute of play forced AFC - Curitiba's goalkeeper Celsinho Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celsinho Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Osmundo in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, AFC - Curitiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute of the match Fernando Figueroa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celsinho Vander showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Humberto Leão took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Dario Barros to make any attempt to save it.

Alo Ba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Celsinho Vander came out and tried to block the shot, but Alo Ba slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Baldomiro Gerazan got a free kick in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Osmundo in the 63rd minute of play forced AFC - Curitiba's goalkeeper Celsinho Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celsinho Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Guipuzkoa in the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Alo Ba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celsinho Vander. AFC - Curitiba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alo Ba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After 69 played minutes Zeledon Osmundo rounded AFC - Curitiba's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-4. Nico Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Gerazan. When Luiz Gustavo Braga came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the AFC - Curitiba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Gustavo Braga couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Sebastian Andrade got a free kick in the 83rd minute. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB were furious when Baldomiro Gerazan was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 86 minutes into the game, one of BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in AFC - Curitiba's zone, Alo Ba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celsinho Vander came out of the goal and Alo Ba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
