After 34 played minutes Boomerang Bombers got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Arvidsson. ★POLI★™★VIOLA★'s Anton Cojocaru got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andrei Dinculescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andréas Hallgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After the first half ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anton Cojocaru was the one to do the kick off. Boomerang Bombers's Claes Sandström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilian Nițulescu in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Bernt Arvidsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boomerang Bombers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
