The referee ignored Karhulan Veikot's protests and gave Daddy Seppo a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Karhulan Veikot:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CORNUDOS Fútbol Club:s goal. The audience was convinced that Basilio Fidencio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toivo Hedberg was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 15th minute of the match Teo Dolfo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Toivo Hedberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Modesto Ferdinand hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute Modesto Ferdinand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toivo Hedberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Bonadona charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddy Bonadona the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Freddy Bonadona hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joona Lindberg in the 27th minute of play forced CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Angelo Crescencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toivo Hedberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Fidencio in the 29th minute of the match. Joona Lindberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joona Lindberg struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Angelo Crescencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karhulan Veikot. The supporters of CORNUDOS Fútbol Club booed when Karhulan Veikot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yrjänä Vihtilä didn't get a good kick on the ball. Modesto Ferdinand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Toivo Hedberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Ferdinand scored 0-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toivo Hedberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelo Crescencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rauli Hartikainen in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Daddy Seppo got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Karhulan Veikot getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Daddy Seppo hit a great ball. Basilio Fidencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toivo Hedberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Modesto Ferdinand's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's Angelo Crescencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joona Lindberg in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Fidencio in the 66th minute of play forced Karhulan Veikot's goalkeeper Toivo Hedberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Karhulan Veikot getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Aadolf Martikainen hit a great ball. Modesto Ferdinand's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Toivo Hedberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Karhulan Veikot supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CORNUDOS Fútbol Club's performance. The match ended with a win for CORNUDOS Fútbol Club.
