The Batalhão do Peçanha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dráusio das Neves should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renatinho Catarinense got free with Isaac Eguntsenti in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
