Kazım Koçarslan made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Bruno Steiner sent off a good shot on target. In the 2nd minute, Olympique Fribourg's Bruno Steiner dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 9th minute, Bayındır Mehmet Nazir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guillaume Vittiger was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 13 minutes, Cavit Çağan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cavit Çağan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th match minute, Olympique Fribourg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erich Sevier to maneuver through the defense. In the 16thth minute of the game Bayındır Mehmet Nazir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olympique Fribourg's Guillaume Vittiger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Olympique Fribourg getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Omar Bünder hit a great ball. Guillaume Vittiger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gazanfer Özcan Öveç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olympique Fribourg's Guillaume Vittiger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cavit Çağan in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Ruzgar Gibi Geçti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bayındır Mehmet Nazir to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bayındır Mehmet Nazir in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillaume Vittiger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guillaume Vittiger came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's Cavit Çağan. But to his dismay, Cavit Çağan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 41 minutes into the game, Bayındır Mehmet Nazir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Guillaume Vittiger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 45 played minutes Olympique Fribourg got a freekick which was hit by Errol Marbach. Guillaume Vittiger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayındır Mehmet Nazir, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Bayındır Mehmet Nazir made the kick off in the second half. Bayındır Mehmet Nazir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Guillaume Vittiger made a huge save. Gazanfer Özcan Öveç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Berk Seyban lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 56th minute, one of Ruzgar Gibi Geçti:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ruzgar Gibi Geçti. Alaaddin Ortunc's late challenge caught a Olympique Fribourg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alaaddin Ortunc helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes Ruzgar Gibi Geçti got a freekick which was hit by Alaaddin Ortunc. In the 62nd minute of the match Erich Sevier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kazım Koçarslan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Guillaume Vittiger made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Alaaddin Ortunc sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute Alaaddin Ortunc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillaume Vittiger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 played minutes Olympique Fribourg got a freekick which was hit by Omar Bünder. When Doğukan Tellioğlu came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Ruzgar Gibi Geçti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doğukan Tellioğlu couldn't finish the play. If Gualtier Gersten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Doğukan Tellioğlu fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's protests and gave Doğukan Tellioğlu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute Gazanfer Özcan Öveç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillaume Vittiger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ruzgar Gibi Geçti booed when Olympique Fribourg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quintus Melliger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's Gazanfer Özcan Öveç got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gazanfer Özcan Öveç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cavit Çağan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guillaume Vittiger came out and tried to block the shot, but Cavit Çağan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 87th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alaaddin Ortunc in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillaume Vittiger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Omar Bünder during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Omar Bünder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olympique Fribourg's Guillaume Vittiger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Olympique Fribourg from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Cavit Çağan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillaume Vittiger was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
