The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elias Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Nordström in the 6th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Nelsinho Paranaense notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vännäsby BF's Thor Frykberg. Thor Frykberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Petter Hjortberg put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Elias Amorim. Thor Frykberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelsinho Paranaense in the 20th minute of play. Vännäsby BF's Thor Frykberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romário Lucas in the 21st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Roy Nordström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elias Amorim. That made the score 3-1 in the 29 minute of play. Elias Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roy Nordström in the 32nd minute. Elias Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roy Nordström went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Nelsinho Paranaense hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 47 minutes of play, Vännäsby BF's Roy Nordström made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roy Nordström to strike the kick off in the second half. Haruna Hassan came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Thor Frykberg could save by the left post. In the 58th minute, Sven Broberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vännäsby BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Broberg in the 61st minute of play forced XV de Piracicaba's goalkeeper Elias Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Vännäsby BF's Roy Nordström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elias Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 68 minutes into the game, when Antônio Rodrigues put in a rough tackle. XV de Piracicaba's Elias Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Hjortberg in the 73rd minute of play. Elias Amorim came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Vännäsby BF's Michael Josefsson. But to his dismay, Michael Josefsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. After a rather tough play, Vännäsby BF's Anders Martinsson got a free kick in the 81st minute. Gualter Maranhense struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Thor Frykberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for XV de Piracicaba. 89 minutes into the match, XV de Piracicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Josefsson came free, but Elias Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Nordström in the 90th minute of play. Elias Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petter Hjortberg went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 11-1 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute Sven Broberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Michael Josefsson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 96 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Elias Amorim was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Thor Frykberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gualter Maranhense. Vännäsby BF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
