Spectators: 168 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Johannes Smitt started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Thomas Lövkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Strömsbro IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ares FC -MM- the free kick. Rickard Söder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basarab Şoimaru's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After 5 minutes, Ivan Billberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Strömsbro IF and the Ares FC -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ares FC -MM-'s Basarab Şoimaru got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Virgil Turceanu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Strömsbro IF's Rickard Söder. Rickard Söder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22ndth minute of the game Thomas Lövkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ares FC -MM-'s Horia Hulubei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Magne Håkansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Horia Hulubei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Ares FC -MM-'s Virgil Turceanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rickard Söder. Rickard Söder yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Ares FC -MM-'s Dorin Iovulescu got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Ares FC -MM-'s Virgil Turceanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 42nd minute, Paul Hellström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Thomas Lövkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horia Hulubei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Johannes Smitt fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Strömsbro IF's protests and gave Johannes Smitt a yellow card for diving instead. After 48 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Smitt. Lucrețiu Gologan struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Rickard Söder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ares FC -MM-. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cazimir Dijmărescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Rickard Söder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cazimir Dijmărescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Horia Hulubei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Lövkvist in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's Jens-Ola Norberg got a free kick in the 61st minute. Basarab Stejaru kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Rickard Söder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cazimir Dijmărescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Turceanu in the 72nd minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rickard Söder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Lövkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horia Hulubei having to interfere. Thomas Lövkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horia Hulubei having to make a save. Horia Hulubei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Lövkvist in the 89th minute. Thomas Lövkvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Horia Hulubei came out and tried to block the shot, but Thomas Lövkvist slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 99th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ares FC -MM- fully deserved thier win.
