The supporters of SLB TELHA booed when AFC Richmond was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brett Hull didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Esteves made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Lupe Titus sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Esteves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lupe Titus in the 17th minute. Manuel Esteves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brett Hull went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute, AFC Richmond's Hippolyte Salois ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manuel Esteves. Manuel Esteves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 31st match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesário Laureano to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brett Hull in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Esteves saved SLB TELHA from getting behind. In the 38th minute Hippolyte Salois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Avelino Madruga to strike the kick off in the second half. Wallace Blum hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, SLB TELHA's goal looked a bit too open when Brett Hull came free, but Manuel Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SLB TELHA getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Nuno Modesto hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, SLB TELHA's Américo Raposo got a free kick in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the game, Dante Grenier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Manuel Esteves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manuel Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hippolyte Salois in the 68th minute of play. Manuel Esteves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hippolyte Salois went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Arnold Pruitt kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The long shot by Joaquim Espinosa in the 89th minute really tested Thaddeus Paleov's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Hippolyte Salois hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Fernando Bento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thaddeus Paleov came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernando Bento slotted it home off the left post making it 5-2 in the 91st minute. AFC Richmond were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SLB TELHA for a fine match.
