The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by István Dudás during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Dan Nykvist came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Diniimanibelediyespor fans jumped to their feet. The referee ignored Diniimanibelediyespor's protests and gave Bernt Söderkvist a yellow card for diving instead. Göran Beckström made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ede Edelényi sent off a good shot on target. Ede Edelényi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Göran Beckström made a huge save. Diniimanibelediyespor's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
