Rıfat Kainat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toncho Zhulev, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Toncho Zhulev scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rıfat Kainat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Toncho Zhulev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rıfat Kainat. POZANTI SPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toncho Zhulev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Antoni Gadzhov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rıfat Kainat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chudomir Bakalov, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. FC TROYAN's Dido Gúrchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodio Taffarel in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to POZANTI SPOR getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Erdeniz Vecdet hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Evtim Deliradev made a precise shot to the right of Rıfat Kainat. POZANTI SPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 37 minutes into the match, POZANTI SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Chudomir Bakalov came free, but Rıfat Kainat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bilge Ceylan during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes POZANTI SPOR got a freekick which was hit by Bilge Ceylan. Rıfat Kainat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toncho Zhulev in the 40th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in POZANTI SPOR's zone, Evtim Deliradev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rıfat Kainat came out of the goal and Evtim Deliradev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dries Mertens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toncho Zhulev to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, FC TROYAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toncho Zhulev to maneuver through the defense. POZANTI SPOR's Rıfat Kainat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evtim Deliradev in the 56th minute of play. Erdeniz Vecdet's late challenge caught a FC TROYAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erdeniz Vecdet helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Erdeniz Vecdet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rıfat Kainat was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Nikifor Kúrshev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nikifor Kúrshev really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Dido Gúrchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erdeniz Vecdet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yanko Zikolov during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes FC TROYAN got a freekick which was hit by Yanko Zikolov. In the 69th minute, Doruk Ula got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bilge Ceylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 78th minute Dries Mertens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dido Gúrchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dries Mertens scored 1-5 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dido Gúrchev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clodio Taffarel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dido Gúrchev having to make a save. After a rather tough play, POZANTI SPOR's Doruk Ula got a free kick in the 94th minute. Rıfat Kainat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evtim Deliradev in the 97th minute of the match. The FC TROYAN supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC TROYAN would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
