After 14 played minutes Carabata Groove got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Marin. 17 minutes into the match, Ulises Ipar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andreas Lammertz. SC Night Cats's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulises Ipar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 22nd minute Ulises Ipar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Lammertz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SC Night Cats booed when Carabata Groove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Isadore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andreas Lammertz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Evis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andreas Lammertz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Evis in the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, SC Night Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Paublo came free, but Andreas Lammertz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernst Breite hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Paublo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Andreas Lammertz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulises Ipar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SC Night Cats's Ralf Meier pulled a muscle in his leg after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Froilan Ignado kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Matthias Zehrfeld took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jeremias Neron. Carabata Groove's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With 56 minutes on the clock, Luisito Diaz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carabata Groove fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! The referee gave SC Night Cats a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Matthias Zehrfeld, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Carabata Groove's Jeremias Neron. 1-6. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Night Cats! The goalkeeper, Andreas Lammertz, was totally fooled by Carabata Groove's Ceferino Isadore, who 62 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. SC Night Cats's Andreas Lammertz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save SC Night Cats from getting a goal against them. A collision led to SC Night Cats getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jan Kleimeier hit a great ball. Tiburcio Paublo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Marin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Andreas Lammertz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiburcio Paublo in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andreas Lammertz saved SC Night Cats from getting behind. Frank Müller tried in the game's 90th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Andreas Lammertz. An annoying self made goal, 1-9. With an all-out effort, Carabata Groove's Andreas Lammertz threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tiburcio Paublo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ulises Ipar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthias Zehrfeld during the 100th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SC Night Cats getting a freekick after 100 minutes play. Matthias Zehrfeld hit a great ball. In the 101st minute, Ulises Ipar made a precise shot to the right of Andreas Lammertz. SC Night Cats's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-10. Carabata Groove's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
