A collision led to FC Wil 1900 getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. David Krause hit a great ball. Yanic Kulenovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mieszko Mazierski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yanic Kulenovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyryl Dziedziak in the 10th minute of the match. Keno Bösch lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Wil 1900 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! After having played for 16 minutes, Konstantin Bocchi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wil 1900's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konstantin Bocchi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mieszko Mazierski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yanic Kulenovic having to interfere. Skarpa Ełk's Jedrzej Grucza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantin Bocchi in the 24th minute of play. After 27 minutes, Witalis Jekot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skarpa Ełk and the FC Wil 1900 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 minutes of play, FC Wil 1900's Friedel Chalut made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jedrzej Grucza was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Cyryl Dziedziak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yanic Kulenovic. That made the score 2-1 in the 33 minute of play. Yanic Kulenovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mieszko Mazierski in the 43rd minute of play. FC Wil 1900's Yanic Kulenovic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save FC Wil 1900 from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, Jurand Golob hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Skay Škarpa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, FC Wil 1900 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Krause to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Skarpa Ełk booed when FC Wil 1900 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucius Frank didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mieszko Mazierski struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Yanic Kulenovic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skarpa Ełk. A collision led to FC Wil 1900 getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. David Krause hit a great ball. Yanic Kulenovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Waselewicz in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Waselewicz came free, but Yanic Kulenovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes FC Wil 1900 got a freekick which was hit by Konstantin Bocchi. In the 75th minute of the match, Vagner Penisson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jedrzej Grucza was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Mieszko Mazierski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Stefan Waselewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanic Kulenovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Stefan Waselewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yanic Kulenovic was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1.
