Victorio Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Edmílson de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Mingo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Cordeiro in the 19th minute of play. Henrique Marinho charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrique Marinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Henrique Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melquiades Fidencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aleksi Lehmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Mingo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Turi during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, ALEXANDRIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Turi to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Cordeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raul Mingo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonardo Cordeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the match, Victorio Figueroa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edmílson de Lara, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aleksi Lehmann made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Leonel Peres recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raul Mingo. Leonel Peres showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 57th minute, Leon Turi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zé Carlos de Lara's late challenge caught a ALEXANDRIA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Carlos de Lara helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Florão da América's Zé Carlos de Lara got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Aleksi Lehmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aleksi Lehmann struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Raul Mingo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Florão da América. Aleksi Lehmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Mingo having to interfere. A collision led to ALEXANDRIA getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Humberto Venerando hit a great ball. Florão da América were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
