Claudinho Bezerra's late challenge caught a FC Grodzka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinho Bezerra helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes Merusca F&P got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Bezerra. A collision led to Merusca F&P getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Vânderson de Almeida hit a great ball. Gwidon Chowaniec charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gwidon Chowaniec the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th match minute, FC Grodzka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwidon Chowaniec to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Fernando Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Piotr Wolczewski lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of FC Grodzka:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Merusca F&P:s goal. FC Grodzka:s Zdzislaw Walentowicz showed great skill when he stopped Claudinho Bezerra:s penalty. FC Grodzka's Ziemowit Czeszejko couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Merusca F&P. After 32 played minutes FC Grodzka got a freekick which was hit by Michal Harbaszewski. In the 32nd minute, Nico Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Tolek Kolano fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Grodzka's protests and gave Tolek Kolano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Grodzka's Tolek Kolano got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 35 played minutes Merusca F&P got a freekick which was hit by Ian Salles. Merusca F&P's Agnaldo Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolek Kolano in the 38th minute of play. Zdzislaw Walentowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Bezerra in the 42nd minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tolek Kolano to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Merusca F&P's Carlos Fernando Luz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zdzislaw Walentowicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Gwidon Chowaniec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Agnaldo Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tolek Kolano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnaldo Tinoco having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P's Claudinei Sabóia got a free kick in the 66th minute. Merusca F&P's Adelino Costa was substituted for Ian Salles. In the 67th match minute, Merusca F&P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. Tolek Kolano took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agnaldo Tinoco. Agnaldo Tinoco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 71st match minute, FC Grodzka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korneliusz Rosiewicz to maneuver through the defense. FC Grodzka's Zdzislaw Walentowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Costa in the 72nd minute of play. When Olaf Fikus fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Grodzka's protests and gave Olaf Fikus a yellow card for diving instead. 77 minutes into the match, FC Grodzka's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernando Luz came free, but Zdzislaw Walentowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zdzislaw Walentowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Luz in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Grodzka's Edmund Loncki got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 84th minute, Claudinho Bezerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zdzislaw Walentowicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Merusca F&P's Cristóvão Tepedino was substituted for Tales Soares. Zdzislaw Walentowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
