In the 4th minute, Ernest Chester made a precise shot to the right of Eliseo Abeita. Motu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 7th minute, Motu's Baldomiro Jacindo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Baldomiro Jacindo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Motu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Baldomiro Jacindo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Motu! In the 8th minute, Samuel Chase ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseo Abeita was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Eliseo Abeita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milo Blanco in the 12th minute of play. If Pastor Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmiro Sindo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ernest Chester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Abeita having to interfere. After 27 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Robert Huddleston. The long shot by Epifanio Vitin in the 28th minute really tested Wes Gillespie's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ubaldo Ibar struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Wes Gillespie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Motu. Eliseo Abeita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milo Blanco in the 33rd minute of play. Eliseo Abeita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Knowles in the 35th minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, ForestFire's Milo Blanco made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseo Abeita was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eliseo Abeita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milo Blanco in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Ernest Chester made a precise shot to the right of Eliseo Abeita. Motu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. With 45 minutes on the clock, Cary Griggs commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 45 minutes into the game, one of ForestFire:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Wes Gillespie, was totally fooled by Motu's Epifanio Vitin, who 48 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The Motu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ForestFire were winning 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charlton Daly made a kick off. Eliseo Abeita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernest Chester in the 53rd minute. When Benedicto Tebaldo came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Motu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Tebaldo couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the game, Sammy Knowles recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eliseo Abeita. Sammy Knowles showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Motu's Benedicto Tebaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Epifanio Vitin kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Motu's Eliseo Abeita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Motu from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sammy Knowles in the 73rd minute of play forced Motu's goalkeeper Eliseo Abeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wes Gillespie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Tebaldo in the 78th minute of play. Benedicto Tebaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Benedicto Tebaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wes Gillespie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Ibar, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Wes Gillespie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Tebaldo in the 91st minute of play. Wes Gillespie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Ibar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When ForestFire's Whitney Pelletier in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Motu's goalie prevented a goal. The Motu supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ForestFire's performance. The match ended with a win for ForestFire.
