The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tiago Quiñones came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Aris Salonicco FC's Antonio Negri. But to his dismay, Antonio Negri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 18th minute, Ferruccio Nardi made a precise shot to the right of Tiago Quiñones. MILLONARIOS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The supporters of Aris Salonicco FC booed when MILLONARIOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argoitz Marichalar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, MILLONARIOS FC's Amadeo Santisso got a free kick in the 25th minute. Tiago Quiñones didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabrizio Colecchia went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Fabrizio Colecchia might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiago Quiñones. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabrizio Colecchia ran back to his position shaking his head. Tiago Quiñones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Furia in the 31st minute of play. Tiago Quiñones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Furia, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Argoitz Marichalar came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Augusto Borromeo could save by the left post. The MILLONARIOS FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aris Salonicco FC were winning 1-6.

Tiago Quiñones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Colecchia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dave Furia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MILLONARIOS FC's Tiago Quiñones proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save MILLONARIOS FC from getting a goal against them. When Argoitz Marichalar came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the MILLONARIOS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Argoitz Marichalar couldn't finish the play. Felice Brandolini scored 1-8 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiago Quiñones, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antonio Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute Fabrizio Colecchia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Quiñones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Fabrizio Colecchia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tiago Quiñones. Fabrizio Colecchia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-9. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Dave Furia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fabrizio Colecchia hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Ferruccio Nardi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Tiago Quiñones made a huge save. In the 85th match minute, MILLONARIOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cisco Mazule to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Aris Salonicco FC booed when MILLONARIOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Cabalar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvise Scotti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiago Quiñones read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. With a little luck, MILLONARIOS FC's Tiago Quiñones got control of the ball when Dave Furia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aris Salonicco FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
