Magnus Hedman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loreno Deves in the 31st minute. With an all-out effort, Ballet Azul's Magnus Hedman threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Loreno Deves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Ballet Azul booed when Lite Finare Lite Bättre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Bergfelt didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edwin Eklund was the one to do the kick off. If Loreno Deves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Magnus Hedman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loreno Deves, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ballet Azul fully deserved thier win.
