After some careless play in the Jonathan Livingston ⚜️ defense, Pieter-Maarten Sneijers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Müjdat Egelioğlu. The Jonathan Livingston ⚜️ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Müjdat Egelioğlu should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Birsel Göktürk got free with Felix Laremans in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Felix Laremans managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Jonathan Livingston ⚜️'s Birsel Göktürk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Şafak Orkut scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Laremans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuz Cângea in the 19th minute of play forced Eendracht Vooruit's goalkeeper Felix Laremans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Jonathan Livingston ⚜️ getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Mutlu Özaltın hit a great ball. Felix Laremans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Birsel Göktürk in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Şafak Orkut recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felix Laremans. Şafak Orkut showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 34 minutes into the match, Pieter-Maarten Sneijers notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Jonathan Livingston ⚜️'s Müjdat Egelioğlu. Müjdat Egelioğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Şafak Orkut took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Laremans. Felix Laremans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Timothy Van Goethem kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. 49 minutes into the match, Eendracht Vooruit's goalkeeper Felix Laremans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Birsel Göktürk.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oğuz Cângea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Oğuz Cângea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Laremans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Birsel Göktürk in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felix Laremans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felix Laremans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şafak Orkut in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Eendracht Vooruit booed when Jonathan Livingston ⚜️ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birsel Göktürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute of the match Adam Beckers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Müjdat Egelioğlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute, Mutlu Özaltın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute Oğuz Cângea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Laremans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulus Volders charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulus Volders the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes Eendracht Vooruit got a freekick which was hit by Paulus Volders. Cem Adrian struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Felix Laremans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jonathan Livingston ⚜️. Mathieux Steenbecks kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuz Cângea in the 84th minute of play forced Eendracht Vooruit's goalkeeper Felix Laremans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Laremans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şafak Orkut, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Eendracht Vooruit's zone, Oğuz Cângea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Laremans came out of the goal and Oğuz Cângea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Şafak Orkut took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Laremans. Felix Laremans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Eendracht Vooruit:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jonathan Livingston ⚜️:s goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Jonathan Livingston ⚜️ fully deserved thier win.
