Habakkuk Asprilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes in the game, Bob Eriksson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Romel Villarreal having to interfere. Hvam FC's Curt Struborg was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 7th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Juan Mendieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Hornung having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Bob Eriksson rounded San Roque FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. In the 34th minute Hector Pinilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Hornung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes San Roque FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Mendieta. In the 47th minute, Hvam FC's Habakkuk Asprilla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romel Villarreal. Romel Villarreal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Mendieta to strike the kick off in the second half. When Hvam FC's Habakkuk Asprilla in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Roque FC's goalie prevented a goal. Per Hornung made an important save on a dangerous shot by Monchi Villalaz in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute Rolando Spadafora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Hornung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Habakkuk Asprilla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Romel Villarreal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Romel Villarreal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bob Eriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romel Villarreal having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Bob Eriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romel Villarreal was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Romel Villarreal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bob Eriksson's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. The supporters of San Roque FC booed when Hvam FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Habakkuk Asprilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hvam FC had won after a very even match.
