But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quique Mas couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute Gervasio Cordarell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Marcos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Esquipula Idiaquez fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dinamita on Grass's protests and gave Esquipula Idiaquez a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Dinamita on Grass got a freekick which was hit by Esquipula Idiaquez. 15 minutes into the match, Dinamita on Grass's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Cordarell came free, but Lucas Marcos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Quique Mas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dinamita on Grass's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quique Mas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dinamita on Grass's zone, Flavio Evarado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Marcos came out of the goal and Flavio Evarado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the match, LiBeRiA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Romualdo Ucero came free, but Hernan Silbestre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Placido Beltza kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Hernan Silbestre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lesardo Japón in the 25th minute of play. Hernan Silbestre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lesardo Japón, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Lucas Marcos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LiBeRiA F.C.. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romualdo Ucero to make the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Silbestre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dinamita on Grass's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
