In the 20th minute Andries Mangelschot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco Durazno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joop Leemans got his second yellow card in the match during the 23rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Joop Leemans kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Jamie Verduyckt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliberto Madeo in the 25th minute. Arnoldo Asiers short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Jamie Verduyckt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the YR Mechelen defense, Rosendo Beti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jamie Verduyckt. The YR Mechelen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jamie Verduyckt should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute, Anselmo Mateus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, YR Mechelen's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Mateus came free, but Jamie Verduyckt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Clodoveo Hernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Udalaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Asier took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jamie Verduyckt. Jamie Verduyckt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. ..Villa Rugby Club..'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
