When Dennis Pagliarini fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gonzo Style f.c's protests and gave Dennis Pagliarini a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gonzo Style f.c getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Dennis Pagliarini hit a great ball. Federico Marsilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Mambru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafino Rico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Pelliccioni in the 17th minute. If Alejo Lastur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzo Style f.c's Federico Marsilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Soin in the 24th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carmine Galli during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gonzo Style f.c's Carmine Galli got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Gonzo Style f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Soin came free, but Federico Marsilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Vieri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kaplan's Serafino Rico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Galli in the 51st minute of play. Augusto Vieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Rico having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Tocci in the 56th minute of play forced Kaplan's goalkeeper Serafino Rico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 57th minute of the match Dennis Pagliarini completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dennis Pagliarini a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
