In the 20th minute Horacio Sein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Rico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Las Palmas's Lucas Federigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Mambru in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, Las Palmas's Lucas Federigo got control of the ball when Alejo Lastur tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute Diego Mikelats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Rico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Faustino Mambru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Federigo was relentless in the 67th minute of the game.
