Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Academia FC's German Restu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Fortunato Canal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Linterna verde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Constantino Rodriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generosb Solano, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8thth minute of the game Fortunato Canal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia FC's Constantino Rodriguez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Constantino Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fortunato Canal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fortunato Canal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th match minute, Academia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Ugutz to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Linterna verde's Dolfo Aledo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Constantino Rodriguez came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Linterna verde's Fortunato Canal. But to his dismay, Fortunato Canal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 21st match minute, Academia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Felipo to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Generosb Solano notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Academia FC's Constantino Rodriguez. Constantino Rodriguez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 25 played minutes Academia FC got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Lehior. Dolfo Aledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Rodriguez having to interfere. When Linterna verde's Fortunato Canal in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academia FC's goalie prevented a goal. 34 minutes into the game, Mario Rivero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Linterna verde the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Academia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Rivero to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Fortunato Canal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Constantino Rodriguez was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fortunato Canal in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantino Rodriguez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Constantino Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rumaldo Gayoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Linterna verde's Ieltxu Botella got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Fortunato Canal put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Constantino Rodriguez. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Fortunato Canal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ieltxu Botella during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Academia FC booed when Linterna verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ieltxu Botella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Linterna verde's Refugio Balaguer pulled a muscle in his leg after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Linterna verde made a substitution. Leon Villapecellin replaced Refugio Balaguer. In the 62nd minute, Geronimo Lehior hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a left leg Constantino Rodriguez saved Academia FC from getting behind. Fortunato Canals short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Constantino Rodriguez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
