Flávio Azzaro charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flávio Azzaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Soldados De Román fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Kaká Tua, was totally fooled by Belotaurus FC's Chiquinho Linares, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 10th match minute, Belotaurus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Botelho to maneuver through the defense. Kaká Tua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Vianna in the 12th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evaristo Brodel during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Evaristo Brodel hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Astor Cristofol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Soldados De Román booed when Belotaurus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Enéas Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belotaurus FC's protests and gave Enéas Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Soldados De Román booed when Belotaurus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enéas Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Enéas Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 played minutes Belotaurus FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Arce. The supporters of Belotaurus FC booed when Soldados De Román was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Arnau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaká Tua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enéas Cunha in the 32nd minute. Cássio Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Ofelio in the 34th minute of the match. Kaká Tua came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Belotaurus FC's Aloísio Vianna. But to his dismay, Aloísio Vianna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience was convinced that Astor Cristofol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cássio Salles was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. The supporters of Belotaurus FC booed when Soldados De Román was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kolos Barco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Atilano Artizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Astor Cristofols short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Cássio Salles to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cássio Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prudencio Ofelio in the 61st minute. After 65 played minutes Soldados De Román got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Artizar. In the 67th minute, Aloísio Vianna made a precise shot to the right of Kaká Tua. Soldados De Román's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When Soldados De Román's Astor Cristofol in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belotaurus FC's goalie prevented a goal. Belotaurus FC's Cássio Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Belotaurus FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Astor Cristofol in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cássio Salles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Soldados De Román's Cássio Salles threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Erubiel Ramone, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Belotaurus FC's Ernani Vides got a free kick in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Paz in the 95th minute of play forced Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Cássio Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
