An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Milito in the 4th minute of play forced Club Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Silvano Esiquio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severiano Taurino took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvano Esiquio. Silvano Esiquio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Quin during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Ramiro Quin got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, Severiano Taurino made a precise shot to the right of Silvano Esiquio. Club Sportivo Italiano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Silvano Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Inautzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Florencio Paz fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Balvanera's protests and gave Florencio Paz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Florencio Paz got a free kick in the 17th minute. Eusebio Lehoi charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebio Lehoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 22 minutes into the match, Severiano Taurino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvano Esiquio. Club Sportivo Italiano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severiano Taurino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 25th minute, Higinio Procopio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Joaquin Nofre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Balvanera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. If Leandro Cordarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 minutes of play, Deportivo Balvanera's Severiano Taurino made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvano Esiquio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Joaquin Nofre made a precise shot to the right of Silvano Esiquio. Club Sportivo Italiano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ovidio Mosen made a kick off. Florencio Paz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Esiquio having to interfere. Silvano Esiquio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Nofre in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th match minute, Club Sportivo Italiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Fernado to maneuver through the defense. Deportivo Balvanera made a substitution. Venancio Chaime replaced Florencio Paz. Silvano Esiquio came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Balvanera's Joaquin Nofre. But to his dismay, Joaquin Nofre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Silvano Esiquio made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Diego Milito sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the game, Deportivo Balvanera's Joaquin Nofre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvano Esiquio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Deportivo Balvanera made a substitution. Eliseo Gartzi replaced Eusebio Lehoi. Fermin Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Eliseo Gartzi charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Gartzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Deportivo Balvanera getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Eliseo Gartzi hit a great ball. In the 90th play minute Severiano Taurino came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Silvano Esiquio. 0-12. Club Sportivo Italiano's Silvano Esiquio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Sportivo Italiano from getting a goal against them. Deportivo Balvanera's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
