Tommi Ooms stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guilherme do Vale's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Guilherme do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VARGINHA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guilherme do Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gualter de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieterjan Valckeneers in the 27th minute of play. Yanis Van Schoorisse came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gualter de Godoi could save by the left post. Gualter de Godoi was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Pieterjan Valckeneers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pieterjan Valckeneers really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When Guilherme do Vale came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the VARGINHA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guilherme do Vale couldn't finish the play. Tommi Ooms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aírton Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Kaba Okala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1.
