Norman-Alexander Wellmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Espinosa in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Cefero Gala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cefero Gala in the 14th minute of play forced FV Wienerwald's goalkeeper Norman-Alexander Wellmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Maestro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin-Pascal Rohrschneider in the 16th minute of play. Nestor Rico scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norman-Alexander Wellmann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Norman-Alexander Wellmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cai Espinosa in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Espinosa in the 29th minute of play forced FV Wienerwald's goalkeeper Norman-Alexander Wellmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, FV Wienerwald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jo Jani to maneuver through the defense. If Nestor Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FV Wienerwald's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The FV Wienerwald players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Real Llull de Reus were winning 0-3.

FV Wienerwald made a substitution. Tommi Braun replaced Fabian Volmar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Real Llull de Reus's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
