Hajredin Kukovič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Scibilia having to interfere. Vojko Sbrizaj kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Christian Guadagnoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Vojo Šercelj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of S.S.C. NAPOLI:s goal. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for S.S.C. NAPOLI. Anselmo Costantino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vojo Šercelj. 0-1. In the 42nd minute, Christian Guadagnoli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vojo Šercelj was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After the first half S.S.C. NAPOLI were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hajredin Kukovič made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®'s Hajredin Kukovič made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eraldo Scibilia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ciccio Moscatelli who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Vojo Šercelj when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciccio Moscatelli in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vojo Šercelj prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77thth minute of the game Hajredin Kukovič who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.S.C. NAPOLI's Eraldo Scibilia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®'s goalkeeper Vojo Šercelj, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavao Krumpak in the 82nd minute of play forced S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalkeeper Eraldo Scibilia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®'s Čedo Premk got a free kick in the 84th minute. S.S.C.
