In the 4th minute Stewart Brennan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Quercia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute Achille Caccia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carsyn Orourke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Achille Caccia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carsyn Orourke was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Carsyn Orourke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achille Caccia in the 8th minute of the match. Claudio Manzoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Carsyn Orourke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achille Caccia hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Fabian Worsley fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amputees FC's protests and gave Fabian Worsley a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Amputees FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Worsley. Carsyn Orourke was a little too slow when Achille Caccia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Armin Lusi's late challenge caught a Amputees FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armin Lusi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Amputees FC booed when Cesate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armin Lusi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Armin Lusi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Achille Caccia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Amputees FC's Stewart Brennan got a free kick in the 35th minute. Carsyn Orourke was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Achille Caccia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Achille Caccia really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 41 minutes into the match, Amputees FC's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Caccia came free, but Carsyn Orourke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Amputees FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jess Quigley to maneuver through the defense. When Donato Santoro fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cesate's protests and gave Donato Santoro a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Cesate got a freekick which was hit by Donato Santoro. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Worsley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cesate's Beppe Quercia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Cesate from getting a goal against them. Cesate's Beppe Quercia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Worsley in the 55th minute of play. With his leg Beppe Quercia managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Amputees FC's Fabian Worsley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Carsyn Orourke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achille Caccia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eraldo Di Matteo in the 62nd minute of play forced Amputees FC's goalkeeper Carsyn Orourke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Achille Caccia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carsyn Orourke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achille Caccia, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Beppe Quercia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jess Quigley in the 69th minute of play. Beppe Quercia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Worsley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stewart Brennan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Amputees FC's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Caccia came free, but Carsyn Orourke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beppe Quercia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Worsley's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cesate's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Burt Brotherton was slow to take the kick. During this time Amputees FC's players had a chance to rest. Burt Brotherton made a great header on Amputees FC's corner, it was just that Cesate's Beppe Quercia managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 78th minute, Amputees FC's Fabian Worsley dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Beppe Quercia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jess Quigley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Amputees FC's Beppe Quercia threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fabian Worsley, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 87 minutes into the match, Lawrance Willis notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Cesate's Beppe Quercia. Beppe Quercia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Amputees FC booed when Cesate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Manzoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amputees FC's Lawrance Willis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Beppe Quercia but with some difficulty. After 95 minutes, Fabian Worsley made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Cesate's Beppe Quercia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Cesate supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Amputees FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Amputees FC.
