The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mikael Alströmer kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mikael Alströmer sped through Goiânia FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clóvis Pontes. In the 12th minute, Zendium's Alvar Wennerberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 17 minutes into the match, Goiânia FC's goalkeeper Clóvis Pontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niklas Skräddare. Goiânia FC's Clóvis Pontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Goiânia FC from getting a goal against them. After 23 minutes, Doriva Negri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goiânia FC and the Zendium players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes Goiânia FC got a freekick which was hit by Doriva Negri. The supporters of Goiânia FC booed when Zendium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Biörkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Décio Cardozo fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goiânia FC's protests and gave Décio Cardozo a yellow card for diving instead. Décio Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Dan Pilberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clóvis Pontes skillfully saved the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Mikael Alströmer notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Goiânia FC's Clóvis Pontes. Clóvis Pontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 39 minutes of play, Zendium's Kristoffer Säv made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clóvis Pontes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Goiânia FC's Clóvis Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Alströmer in the 42nd minute of play. In the 48th minute, Kristoffer Säv ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clóvis Pontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0.

Zendium's Matthias Björk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Zendium from getting a goal against them. Clóvis Pontes came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Zendium's Kristoffer Säv. But to his dismay, Kristoffer Säv quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. A collision led to Zendium getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Wictor Biörkquist hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Romário Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikael Alströmer took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clóvis Pontes. Clóvis Pontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. 69 minutes into the match, Mikael Alströmer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clóvis Pontes. Goiânia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikael Alströmer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Clóvis Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Alströmer in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Kristoffer Säv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Goiânia FC's Armando Soeiro got a free kick in the 75th minute. Jimmy Biörkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Clóvis Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clóvis Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Arne Löfskog in the 81st minute of the match. After 82 minutes, Jimmy Biörkman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zendium and the Goiânia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hortêncio Britto charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hortêncio Britto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Hortêncio Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristoffer Säv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There was no doubt that Zendium were the better team. Zendium's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
