The audience was convinced that Gheorghe Leucuța's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nemesio Franco was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After 20 minutes, Gheorghe Leucuța made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. El Azulgrana's Nemesio Franco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nemesio Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Leucuța in the 25th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gheorghe Leucuța to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Alexandria Team08's Albert Balint got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristinel Focșa in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nemesio Franco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 77 minutes, Cristinel Focșa made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. El Azulgrana's Nemesio Franco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Alexandria Team08 getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ion Turcescu hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristinel Focșa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nemesio Franco. That made the score 0-8 in the 88 minute of play. El Azulgrana's Nemesio Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Focșa in the 94th minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Vintilă Bâru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alexandria Team08's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vintilă Bâru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alexandria Team08 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
