The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Manilan to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Adam Badiola kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hugo Su. That made the score 0-5 in the 56 minute of play. In the 59th minute Javier Casas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Su saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Javier Casas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Su. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Valdivia got free with Hugo Su in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hugo Su was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Oscar Olmos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Oscar Olmos really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. With his leg Hugo Su managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Inter de Chillán's Javier Casas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 93rd minute of the match, Javier Casas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Su was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Benedicto Fernanco's late challenge caught a Inter de Chillán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inter de Chillán's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
