In the 7th minute Egídio Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Kaká Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caveira F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaká Furlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chicão Sanches breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ronaldão Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Lima in the 20th minute of play forced Caveira F.C's goalkeeper Nicolas Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo Ferraz in the 22nd minute of play. Gernando Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Caveira F.C defense, Egídio Macedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolas Prata. The Caveira F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolas Prata should have stopped the shot.

In the 51st minute of the match Gernando Cruz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicolas Prata showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emanuel Salles's late challenge caught a Tigre das Américas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Salles helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Tigre das Américas got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Macedo. Sydney Rosado charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sydney Rosado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tigre das Américas booed when Caveira F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sydney Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ian Peixoto hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Caveira F.C's zone, Gernando Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Prata came out of the goal and Gernando Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabrício Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Prata having to interfere. The supporters of Tigre das Américas booed when Caveira F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gernando Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Prata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egídio Macedo in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egídio Macedo got free with Nicolas Prata in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Macedo in the 75th minute of play forced Caveira F.C's goalkeeper Nicolas Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Carlos Teixeira's late challenge caught a Tigre das Américas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Carlos Teixeira helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Caveira F.C getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. João Carlos Teixeira hit a great ball. Egídio Macedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Nicolas Prata made a huge save. In the 79th minute, Egídio Macedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Caveira F.C's Iuri Peixoto got a free kick in the 80th minute. Nicolas Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egídio Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Gernando Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tigre das Américas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gernando Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Macedo in the 88th minute of play forced Caveira F.C's goalkeeper Nicolas Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Caveira F.C's goalkeeper Nicolas Prata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egídio Macedo. Tigre das Américas played a much better game than Caveira F.C and deserved their victory. The Caveira F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
