An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Linberg in the 15th minute of play forced ACF Fiorentina's goalkeeper Efrain Presebal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Iban's late challenge caught a MAFFIAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeo Iban helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes ACF Fiorentina got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Iban. Vincent Linberg kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ACF Fiorentina's zone, Vincent Linberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Presebal came out of the goal and Vincent Linberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ACF Fiorentina's Cayetano Berto got a free kick in the 40th minute. Pete Sampras charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pete Sampras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, MAFFIAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pete Sampras to maneuver through the defense. MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Inko in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saturnino Inko to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, ACF Fiorentina's goal looked a bit too open when Pete Sampras came free, but Efrain Presebal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulises Lamberto during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Andre Agassi took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Efrain Presebal to make any attempt to save it. The MAFFIAN players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented ACF Fiorentina from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
