Koos Alberts scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgil Vulturar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, AVV Zeeburgia's Chiel Wilson got control of the ball when Isac Doloman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th minute, Isac Doloman made a precise shot to the right of Chiel Wilson. AVV Zeeburgia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Virgil Vulturar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koos Alberts in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Isac Doloman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Chiel Wilson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Olimpiu Isvoreanu made the kick off in the second half. Willem Rijkaard lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of AVV Zeeburgia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dark Prophets:s goal. AVV Zeeburgia:s Chiel Wilson showed great skill when he stopped Irinel Băcila:s penalty. Isac Doloman charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isac Doloman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Isac Doloman hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Olimpiu Isvoreanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dark Prophets fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Anton Bergmeesters short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Virgil Vulturar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of AVV Zeeburgia booed when Dark Prophets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irinel Băcila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erben Schaars, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dark Prophets's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
