But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elia Borel couldn't finish the play. Gylippus Xydis kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match Dennis Fortuna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Seleykos Sklavenitis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Iakchos Hagias scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonio Vinci, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Seggiano's Antonio Vinci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Seggiano from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute of the match, Akis Kaglantge tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Antonio Vinci saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Antonio Vinci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akis Kaglantge in the 25th minute of the match. Briarios Yfantis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, Armando Pompilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freddy Kruger during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Freddy Kruger kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Seleykos Sklavenitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Borel in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The supporters of Seggiano booed when Unione Sportiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Briarios Yfantis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Apsyrtos Papadelias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seleykos Manoukarakis charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seleykos Manoukarakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Unione Sportiva getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Seleykos Manoukarakis hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apsyrtos Papadelias in the 85th minute of play forced Seggiano's goalkeeper Antonio Vinci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Will Robinson charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Will Robinson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th match minute, Seggiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Will Robinson to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Vinci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apsyrtos Papadelias in the 91st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Unione Sportiva had won after a very even match.
