Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Jailson de Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jailson de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilmar Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Siqueira came free, but Lauro Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Agnaldo Vargas put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ademar Magalhães. A collision led to Nova Iguaçu MZFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Paulo Renato Souza hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agnaldo Vargas in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ademar Magalhães saved BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, Jailson de Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ademar Magalhães was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Agnaldo Vargas sped through BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ademar Magalhães. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Cerezo in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ademar Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the game, Agnaldo Vargas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ademar Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Agnaldo Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ademar Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agnaldo Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46thth minute of the game Agnaldo Vargas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Ademar Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Agnaldo Vargas in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agnaldo Vargas was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Alberto Miranda hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 54th play minutes Agnaldo Vargas shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Ademar Magalhães and just under the crossbar into goal. Ademar Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Diego Cerezo sent off a good shot on target. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dudu Queiroz in the 59th minute. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Dudu Queiroz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ademar Magalhães in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ademar Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agnaldo Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Wilson Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ademar Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Agnaldo Vargas lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Ademar Magalhães. Wilson Vidal took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ademar Magalhães. Ademar Magalhães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Ademar Magalhães stood somewhat misplaced when Agnaldo Vargas came free in front of goal and shot 0-9 to the left of him in the 78 minute. After 80 played minutes BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Gustavo Maciel. Wilson Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ademar Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Elias Britto got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Dudu Queiroz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ademar Magalhães came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nova Iguaçu MZFC reached it. Diego Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Magalhães having to interfere. The supporters of Nova Iguaçu MZFC booed when BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Diego Cerezo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ademar Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ademar Magalhães came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Agnaldo Vargas. But to his dismay, Agnaldo Vargas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Nova Iguaçu MZFC played a much better game than BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER and deserved their victory. The BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
