The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jasper Opdebeeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 朱广辰, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, 朱广辰 made a precise shot to the right of Jasper Opdebeeck. FC Bruges's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Jasper Opdebeeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 朱广辰 in the 11th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Geoffrey Pacolet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Thys Eli fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bruges's protests and gave Thys Eli a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes FC Bruges got a freekick which was hit by Thys Eli. FC Bruges's Jasper Opdebeeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 董渊渊 in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of FC Bruges booed when 蚂蚁在路上 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. 杨宽桦 didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, 朱广辰 put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jasper Opdebeeck. In the 25th minute, 董渊渊 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Jasper Opdebeeck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 朱广辰 to make the kick off. FC Bruges's Jasper Opdebeeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 朱广辰 in the 54th minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 蚂蚁在路上 reached it. 76 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when 谢霖卫 came free, but Jasper Opdebeeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julius Balthazar's late challenge caught a 蚂蚁在路上's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julius Balthazar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Bruges getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Julius Balthazar hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, 谢霖卫 took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Jasper Opdebeeck to make any attempt to save it. In the 81st play minute 范松宽 came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jasper Opdebeeck. 1-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by 郭益烨 in the 89th minute of play forced FC Bruges's goalkeeper Jasper Opdebeeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as 谢霖卫 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jasper Opdebeeck. That made the score 1-10 in the 94 minute of play. After 101 minutes of play FC Bruges's Thys Eli was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 蚂蚁在路上's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
